These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sunrise, Sunset

.

I'm always showing you pictures of my sunrises, those beautiful, glorious sunrises. That's because my house faces East, so I see the sunrises often. I don't show you many sunset pictures because the sun sets behind my house. Since I'm on the east slope of the mountain, I see only part of the sunset, too. It is basically straight upthe mountain outside my back door. But the sunset are pretty spectacular, too. Wanna see?

  6. Very nice. Living in the middle of a suburb, I don't get to see many sunsets or sunrises. But the moon has been shining brightly into our bedroom window at night.

  7. Caroline, thanks. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful, period. But there is something special about the events in the southwest, NM & AZ, particularly. I suspect it has something to do with the atmospheric conditions, but whatever it is, I love it!

Patti, I suppose, truth be told, we all have a love/hate relationship with technology, don't we?

Dave, Sorry you're not getting good sunrises and sunsets. A bit of advice .... watch that moon. A moon burn is the pits!

  12. Those are stunning photos! Our house we just get the sunsets, which are amazing too. I bet we have over 1000 pictures of the sunsets over the lake. My friend goes out and sits by the lake and clicks away. She said it is like a spiritual experience. I tend to miss the sunrises, but it I lived where you did, I'd be up every am, coffee and camera in hand.
