As I mentioned, there are benefits to just about any age, so accepting it is probably the key.

Yes, somehow, it validates his honesty. I'm comfortable with the fact that I have loads to learn and I know it. I hope I grow into grace. That's one thing I'm looking forward to. I'm not very graceful.

I think it's wonderful that the man complimented you like that with his wife there. It means it was truly sincere and there's something special about that.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11639118563136132915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-17602563008316132112008-04-01T11:03:00.000-06:002008-04-01T11:03:00.000-06:00Patti, oh, yes, of course, it does matter how the ...Patti, oh, yes, of course, it does matter how the outside looks. I think it does to most of us. However, what is inside matters to me more. You're right about the 30's being a learning decade, and you'll find the 40's will be, too. By the 50's I started to put it all together and go, "Ah, HA! Now I get it!!!" Now, I'm enjoying the *product* of the *process*!! Life is good! Life is beautiful!!

Dakota, I hear that! When I graduated with my master's degree I was 44. People assumed I was a seasoned, wisened social worker, and it did help to be accepted at times! :D Use it!!Lyniluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04742585512852240355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-32729230890330663732008-04-01T10:47:00.000-06:002008-04-01T10:47:00.000-06:00Casey and I have talked about how we don't feel as...Casey and I have talked about how we don't feel as old as the number of candles on the cake :)

I am starting to get a lot of gray in my hair. I figure when I graduate it will be a plus because people will think I am a wise, experienced lawyer instead of a punk who just graduated!Dakotahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01993401735263016044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-15286042541913236062008-04-01T10:41:00.000-06:002008-04-01T10:41:00.000-06:00I think i've learned alot of things in my 30's - g...I think i've learned alot of things in my 30's - good things.
I think that no matter what I look like on the outside (oh who are we kidding here it DOES matter to me some) it's how we feel inside that is MOST important and I intend to stay about age 10 inside always.Monogram Queenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00201245389134780751noreply@blogger.com
