Yes, it is sometimes a pain to do it or pay for it, but I find it easier to deal with.

Pepper, it's not as hard (usually) as this sounds. Joey's particular coat is a challenge, but the others aren't so bad. With some good electric dog clippers and a set of the guards, you could probably learn it very quickly. there are places online that show you how, and some groomers, especially if understand that you're traveling, will give you tips about the paws, ears, etc.Lyniluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04742585512852240355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-9638857502022285102009-03-12T21:51:00.000-06:002009-03-12T21:51:00.000-06:00ahhh Puppy love. When she gets a little bigger she will be shaved down as well. I wish I could groom them myself. I just get a little to nervous.Pepper McKeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07235285852212643008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-44162286819411113922009-03-11T20:50:00.000-06:002009-03-11T20:50:00.000-06:00Thank heavens for a short coat and no brushing and...Thank heavens for a short coat and no brushing and trimming. It is hard to find new groomers, doctors and dentists. Oh, and hair stylists. Good luck on all that!

MQ, I found a really good groomer, but she is almost 30 miles away, and getting there early in the day is a pain in the rump. I've tried one that is closer, about 10 miles, and she's OK, but not great. It's a chore to find a groomer that fits every need.Lyniluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04742585512852240355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28840534.post-15478177919592051802009-03-11T12:35:00.000-06:002009-03-11T12:35:00.000-06:00It looks very peaceful to me too. And when I start brushing her she thinks it's a game and goes and gets toys, etc.

I have been taking my dogs to the same dog groomer forever, so it makes me sad that i am going to have to find someone new. I hope there is someone in town.
