It's rainy here today too and looks like next week more of the same. Hard to believe Monday will be the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Hugo. I'll take rain over a hurricane ANY ol' day! Smile and make your own sunshine!
Fortunately, hurricanes rarely effect me. Remember last year when the remnants of a hurricane made it here and caused a lot of rain? I know it will pass and chances are I'll be whining about needing rain in the next year or so! We just can't be happy, we humans! LOL!
I don't mind, in fact I actually like rainy days, but this many in a row is depressing to me. I don't do well when there is not a break in it, and trust me, I saw sunshine break through intermittently for about 30 minutes 2 days ago! Not enough!!!
Today is our first day without rain (so far, but it's only 5:30) in over a week and I have LOVED IT. You just don't see it that much in Texas, love it, love it, LOVE IT!
Kathi, I usually like rain, too, but when the overcast is complete for this many days,I really get down. I have SAD. So about 2 days at a time is enough for me.
If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
