These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Puppy prayers needed

My daughter's precious little Margarita, daughter of my dogs Mai Lin and Ali, is very ill. She may have cancer. She has been ill off and on for several months, and while no tumors show up on multiple MRIs and other tests, she has all the symptoms. To add to the mix, one of her litter mates, Bandit, succumbed to cancer in his chest a couple years back. We are all very worried about our baby (and she is the baby, the youngest of all 5 combined dogs). The family is contemplating the options, of which there is really only one . . . a very expensive exploratory surgery. The puppy and kitty prayers chain out there seems to have been a good one in the past, so I'm asking that you put this sweet girl on your prayer list for a while. She has a tough road ahead of her, as does her family.

Thanks.

  6. How sweet we are both requesting for prayers. I will keep your puppy on my mind... it is sad when pets suffer.

  8. Everyone - I am pleasantly overwhelmed with these responses. I will pass this along to my daughter and her family. Our pets become family members and our heart strings get tugged over their distress. Just knowing that there are so many others who are thinking of them will be comforting.

  10. To my dear sweet momma and all her blogging friends and family,

Thank you so much for all your love and support. We have been on this emotional rollar coaster with Margarita for some time. My one prayer is that she doesn't suffer and we are able to do everything for her we can. She is the baby and the liveliest, sweetest dog I know :) Many tears have been shed in our house. Please continue your prayers and support. Terri Lynne

  12. BD - Hi, sweetheart!! I'm glad you came here. I'm worried, too. Poor little girl. But we're getting it taken care of. TL said that she was not herself when you were there. She wasn't "your girl" as she usually is. keep the puppy prayers going. I love you, too, dear heart!!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
