These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Dear All - please continue to comment, but I may be a few days in answering. I'm bone tired and have to sleep. I'm leaving tomorrow for a few days, and I've about ruined myself today getting everything in order for the Floor Guy to finish the floors. I've taken some pictures of progress this first day, and it is amazing. But I gotta leave. Too much dust, too much noise, too much heat. They have to vent the doors to allow air flow to help remove the dust, so it was miserable in here today. I finally locked myself and the dogs in the bedroom to be cool while I packed.

I'll be checking in and responding soon.

  1. Have a nice trip. I can't imagine you staying there. It will be good for you to get away for a couple days anyway. YOu will come back recharged and ready for the last (and final) part for this house.

  3. I've heard this phrase 'bone tired' before. What does it mean?? Maybe as tired as if you were dead, like bones in the ground? Or sumthin?
    Enjoy yourself. Be alive!

  6. caroline - It is really beginning to feel like it is near. As I left today, I felt more "done" than I have since this . . . well, forever.

    patti - Thank you.

seven - my thought: same as "tired to the bone." To me that says one is so tired the everything, all the way down to the bone, is tired. Everything has been overworked so there is no reserve left. I can't find it in slang-type dictionaries. Wow, does that show my age, or what!!!

ragged - I'm practicing my best patience!!

jen - Thanks! When I sign off, that's what I'm gonna do!
