These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

I'm Only 3/4 Female . . . oh, dear!

I saw this on sassyfemme's blog, was curious. This is interesting, because I usually score close to the 50% area, making me androgenous. So what's going on with me? Am I becoming a new person? Am I more of a girlie-girl these days? Does this mean I have to give up my power tools? Please, say NO!!!

Oh, whatever, I'll take it. I don't sound too bad here!!

Your Brain is 73% Female, 27% Male

Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

You have the brain of a girly girl
Which isn't a bad thing at all
You're emphatetic, caring, and in tune with emotions.
You're a good friend and give great advice.

    Somehow I am NOT surprised!!!

  3. ld - Whew! Thanks! I was really worried about that! ;_))

patti - you're right; that sounds like you.

st - your score is more like I usually score. "Today" . . . there's the key. I was feeling pretty vulnerable last night, so maybe it picked up on the indicators for that. Who knows?? Yeah, it was fun!Better leave you mom's where they are for now. Either you or I might have to use them there sometime in the near future. Glad you stopped by!

  4. Hi Lynilu!
thank you for leaving a comment on my blog (-:

I took the male/female quiz I found on your site and my results were 53% female and 47% male.
The other test (the one you commented on and suggested was flawed) had me at only 6% male and 66% female.

Now, I spent yesterday pumping gas, plunging a clogged sink, and drinking beer. So I know that my brain is more than 6% male!!

ps...from the brain down, I am 100% female.

  6. Hmmm... I seem to remember a younger lynilu in pretty dresses... You looked 100% female then, pleated skirt and all... 'course I was just a tadpole across the street then. :)

  7. traci - That's a husband for ya! I'll bet one of these days when he is trying to make you understand something *his* way, he'll say something like, "Aw, c'mon, Trace, think like a man." And you'll fall down on the floor laughing!!

anon - hmmmm. I'm trying to figure out which tadpole this is. I'm suspecting it the youngest one, but if so, you were so small that I'm surprised you remember me what i looked like or how I seemed, let alone a pleated skirt!! I'll bet it was the red plaid one, right??? Gosh, you were just a little tadpoe back then!! Hugs!!

  8. My internet service is on the fritz! So if you have ten comments in your emailbox from me, all saying the same thing, SORRY!! Just wanted to say, 75% female in the brain sounds very balanced. I don't know about you, but I'm not sure I could deal with a 100% woman brain. I say this with authority because I know some men who are.... DIVAS, I tell you.

  9. catherine - LOL Oh, wow, do I agree! I've always been really happy to be considered androgenous (and the *real* tests on this consistently place me there), and I had a touch of panic with those scores! I felt just a little lopsided. In the long run, does it matter? Gosh, no!!!

guess that means i'm not afraid to kick some tush while wearing a skirt. (which i rarely do - wear a skirt, that is) ;)

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
