These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Limping Along

Hey, all, I'm going to be a tad crippled for a while, hopefully just a day or two. For some reason I'm not able to access the Internet from my computer. I'm using Allan's temporarily, but I won't be able to spend ALL DAY on it like I have been! And I can't post pictures, sadly, because I spent yesterday at a wildlife refuge, and I have some gorgeous pictures of waterfowl . . . great blue herons, sandhill cranes, Canadian geese, snow geese, ducks, etc. I felt like a lightweight with my camera. There were some serious photographers/birdwatchers our there with lenses so big some of them couldn't be held up; they HAD to have tripods just to keep them steady! At dusk the birds fly in to the water after being out feeding all day, so there was a huge gathering of shutterbugs, and I guarantee I had the most itty-bitty camera there. I still have some awesome pics, though!

I will be commenting on your blogs, but perhaps not daily. Bear with me. We're trying to find the glitch and get it back on track.

  3. I just went through a month of trying to get mine fixed. I think it's okay for now but I'm crossing my fingers. Then last night my mouse went bad so I went to Walgreens and the choice was wireless or optical so I go the optical. It was the oddest sensation using that mouse. I kept closing pages with no warning. Then today my daughter told me to lose the mouse pad. VOILA!

  4. Seven - Well, yes! have I indicated differently? ;-))

Caroline - This is a royal pain, fer sher! I may have to bring my desktop back from Albuquerque if I have to let go of the laptop for repairs. OH, NO!!

Priscilla - It can be a huge inconvenience, can't it? I've used the laptop for a year, and I love it. But I 'spose I use what I must to get by!
