These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Update

Alrighty, then! We're making progress, although it ain't fixed yet! I was on the phone with Apple this AM and we've established that it isn't the computer, and it isn't the cable modem. Now I have to get on the phone with the wireless router company to reset it. Progress can be slow! We live is such a NOW, NOW, NOW kind of world that it is difficult to be patient at times like this. I'll be back wit' ya soon!!

PS added 4/50PM:
Well, now my computer works like a charm while hardwired. However, when I plugged Allans computer in . . . his doesn't get the internet now!! OHMYGAWD, I'm gonna be in so much trouble when he comes home!!!

Sighhhhh. Oh, that the world were more simple. NO!!! That would mean no internet. Scrap that wish!!! And by all means, stay tuned!!

  7. caroline - yes, she is a sweetheart. And, WOW! I like the picture!

TL - You needn't make Mac comments . . . hubby already made enough. But you see, it is the router, not the Mac!! HA!!!

  9. Eileen - I'll second that cheer! We have determined that it is definitely the router since Allan's computer doesn't work on it now, either. I'm researching a new router, and considering the pros and cons of various ones. I'm still thinking and reading, but I'm guessing that I will be adding an Airport Extreme to my technnical equipment. I know it will be reliable and compatible, allowing me to compute rather than complain!!!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
