These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Sky

Easter Sunday morning I was up early as both of my house guests were leaving for their respective homes. And the sunrise was lovely.

Yesterday, Monday, it rained all afternoon . I mean it really rained! At about 2:30 I took this shot. It was really pretty with the misty coverage of the valley to my East.

But at about 6:30, the whole thing had blown past us. Here is the Eastern sky, reflecting the sunset from behind me.

This shot is to the North. I love how that one little cloud is still hanging onto the mountain, although the rest of his family has moved off toward tomorrow's sunrise. I wonder why that one stuck around as it did.

Happy dreams, everyone! I know what mine will be!

Life is continuing to be a beautiful thing.

  1. You SHOW OFF!!! Hee Hee...just kidding.

Oh my goodness, what BEAUTIFUL pictures! Those are absolutely amazing. I have to say, my all time favorite pictures are of flowers, the beach and the sky. Outside of people, 3 of the most beautiful things God gave us.

Thanks for sharing and have a BEAUTIFUL day!

  2. Thank you, Dawn. I'm enchanted with almost anything in nature. The Creator did an awesome job, didn't He? It is rather comical, but when I take pictures of people, they ysyally look like snapshots. But give me a tree, a flower, clouds, birds or animals, the ocean, whatever, and I somehow find art in my lens. It's a conundrum, but a nice one!
