These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

  3. Patti - Oh, work on keeping the work crap at the office! Go home and have a delightfully spooky Halloween!! I'm sure you'll post pix of her costume, and I'll be waiting!!

Sherry - I wouldn't expect T or T'ers here at my rural spot, but I'm actually looking forward to being at my nephew's home. I will help hand out goodies. It will be fun to see the little ones, 'cause I haven't been at a house that had kids coming around for a couple years now.

  4. YEP...I'm ready! Can't wait to see my little cheerleader all dressed up. Although she's NOT gonna be happy about the possibility of wearing a long sleeved shirt and MAYBE some tights under her outfit. "MOM...cheerleaders don't wear LONG stuff!!!" GREAT! Oh well, blame the weather, not me :-D.

  5. Dawn - Well, if you want, I'll look for my daughter in a picture of cheerleading in long clothing. You don't have to tell her that we lived in cold, old Missouri!!

  7. I'm glad you are going to your nephew's and will help hand out goodies...the little ones are just too sweet for words...they are afraid to open the bag, then they get the hang of it and grab and run shouting "thank you" as they run down the drive...it makes my heart sing....and oh yeah..when you do things like this with little ones?!?! It reminds me that

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! ;) I heard a wise woman say that you know!!! :)

  9. I am kind of sad this year because I really don't have the extra money to spend $30 on candy for kids that drive me crazy the other 364 days of the year. I didn't even buy myself any candy this year. I feel like such a party pooper this year. There's always next year...

  10. Caroline - Aw, honey, I'm sorry. I know how you love the holidays, and it's too bad you're in a financial bind this year. If it helps any, we've all been there at one time. Remember about "challenge." :)(:

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
