These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

  2. I can't get past the first one - Ants never sleep!??!! NEVER? Like never ever in their tiny little lives do they recharge themselves? I am shocked. And a little freaked out. That's how they have time to invade everything... they don't ever slow down!

  5. Oh, useless trivia is very fun. The people I spend my days around are often impressed with the useless and random things I come up with and share, so thanks for adding to the bank of info!

Maybe the ants are like rechargeable batteries . . .

  6. I didn't mean like rechargeable batteries, I meant solar powered . . .not that that theory makes much more sense. Ok, need to sleep, unlike the ants. I was also envisioning supercharged ants that got into a starbucks cup or spill . . .

  7. Love the trivia...wonder how many of those I can use tomorrow.

  8. I can vouch for the fact that Pokemon is evil. Pokemon cards find their way into my couch cushions, they fall apart in washing machines, they've even made their way into the refrigerator.

As for the ants, Jonah had an ant farm last year and I'd swear to you that they slept at night. Or were really really still.

  9. Daisy, hey, now, be careful or you'll make the rest of us feel, uh, not so smart as we thought we were!! LOL!

Melissa, it puts a new appreciation on the phrase "as busy as an ant," doesn't it? Makes me tired!!

MQ, I'm glad you enjoy it! BTW, I usually don't know much of it, either, until I read them!

Beans, useless? USELESS??? OK, I'll admit that "trivia" indicates it is pretty, uh, unessential, but ..... ;)

LOL at your battery "discussion"!! Yes, dear, get some sleep!!

MJ, let me know how many you manage to put out there!!

Catherine, LOL! Pokemon in the fridge??? Not sure I even want to know!!

But wait, now, did you stay up and actually watch the ants all night long?

  10. Great trivia and I knew the one about the statue and a horse though I'm not sure where I read it!

  11. Sherry, I actually knew the horse and rider trivia, also. I can never remember the points when I look at a statue, but I've heard it. I have read that several place over the years, and I think in high school the first time.
