These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Facts are Facts

I woke this morning to a nice gentle rain! I love it! The sun is coming out now, and it looks like we will have it for a while before sliding back into showers in the afternoon and overnight. I looked at the highs forecast for where friends and family live around the US, and I'm very glad to be right here!!! The Midwest is going to be a miserable
hell-hole of hot today. From Dallas through KC, it is going to be mid and upper 90s!! And you KNOW the humidity there is through the roof, too. gah. G.A.H!!!

I'm going to have mid 70s with reasonable humidity, even after this rain. I'm jus' sayin'.

Life in Lynilu-Land is very nice.

I'm jus' sayin'.

It is going to be in the upper 80's here with corresponding humidity for the next 2 weeks according to the forecast. Ugh.

  5. Oh, Cheryl, I know without even asking that it is likely hot and the dickens where you are!! It is jealous-worthy here!!

  6. There you go bragging again. Gah. I am so done with summer and we have just started the really hot part of summer. I really need to move out of this place because the summers just drain all of my energy.

  7. Caroline, see? See, see??? That how I was for several years before I left! I know what you mean about being drained of energy. It is awful. I would be done with summer, too, if I were there!

  8. We have been in a very unsettled weather pattern for almost a week. It's been cloudy, rainy, then the sun comes out as well as the steam and humidity. GAH!!! I HATE the humidity!

  9. at 6 pm it is 86 degrees and humid as well you know what i hate this but i am not sure if this is worse or the 24 inches of snow that comes in the winter

  10. Daisy, it has felt steamy today during the sunny periods, but they were short lived and not actually hot, just warm. Yeah, ban humidity!!

Redfrog, yeah, we complain at either extreme, don't we? But as for me, I'll take the cold weather over hot any day!

  12. MQ, here, too. People laugh when I say this, but it is true .... we are in the monsoon season here, so expecting some rain almost daily is the norm for several weeks. I like this. It is so different from the cloudy/rainy periods in the Midwest, because we also get sun everyday. It is rare to have a whole day completely overcast. As long as there is some sun, I stay afloat while the land gets the essential moisture.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
