I'm psyched!!!
This morning we woke, the Pack and I, and after a little stretching, I opened the crates and we went outside. The Boys apparently saw, heard or smelled something, and they spent the first couple minutes running from one end of the yard to the other, woofing a little and sniffing, jumping with paws on the fence before tering to the other end. Meanwhile, China and Ali, who are both nearly blind and deaf simply went about their business as usual.
Then .... THEN!!! Joey lifted his leg and, gasp, peed!! The running and sniffing and woofing and jumping against the fence continued for another 15 or 20 minutes, and every few minutes he stopped and relieved himself! Several time, a normal amount!
I know, I know! Please just equate me with an excited mom of a toddler who has seen the first results of potty training. Just think of it as one of life's simple little pleasures. Just remember I'm a daft old gal who's tired of cleaning carpet!!! LOL!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
Oh, I feel your joy!! I really do!!
