Have you ever noticed ....
.... when you eat chips and dip you always eat too much? Of course you do, because you fix a bowl of chips and a small bowl of dip, and you begin to eat. But you have dip left over when you eat all the chips, so you get a few more chips. Then you have some chips left when you run out of dip. OK, a little more dip, not too much, just that much. and you run out of chips again with dip left .....
It can't be helped.
That's the rule of chips and dip.
I had never thought about that, but you are sooo right. I am so glad you figured out this mystery.
ReplyDeleteBlasted rule. I'm always jumping up for more chips, but I always get too much so then I need more dip, but then I don't have enough chips, etc. It's vicious!
ReplyDeleteI love love love chips & dip. Tortilla chips & salsa are a staple in our household, but potato chips & french onion dip were a part of every get together of my childhood. French onion dip still reminds me of my parents. Aww!
