These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

Ohhhh! Good news! My friends/neighbors for whom I was looking for a Shih Tzu are on their way to Las Cruces on Saturday to adopt Squeeky, a Shih Tzu/Poodle like Sam. She is one of the dogs I directed them to. She had a ruptured eye when she was found and it had to be removed, but they said she is the most affectionate, sweet, and happy little dog. She really captured their hearts! YAY!! One more precious four-legger to have a second chance at happiness with a new furever home.

Now I need a new "client" to search for.

I actually found another one today that just took my breath away. She is a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix and has a sister to be adopted, too. (The sister's picture hasn't been posted yet.) Go look at this face. I dare you!!! If I didn't already have .... But no, I won't, regardless of those eyes. And those wild stray hairs in her face that are just too cute. And the fact that I'd love to keep her and her sister together. And Jazi could have some sisters to play with and gossip with and have sleep overs. And ....

OK, I won't look at the petfinders.com site for a few days, OK. I won't. I promise. Really!

I am missing Holly so much lately :( I hope she is thinking of me at the Rainbow Bridge.

  2. They've taken the picture down, so I'm thinking she's been adopted. She was absolutely precious.

I know what you mean. Right after China left me, I kept thinking I saw her when Joey walked past me. It's better now, but I still have "moments."

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
