These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Something to make my heart lighter

I need some sweetness and hope today. Many things are weighing heavily on me about the economy, the election, my physical draginess, etc., and when I saw this on another blog, it made my heart lift. I hope you enjoy it.

  1. So precious. I came upon three huge deer last night on my way to pick Taylor up. They're such beautiful animals.

  5. Jen, they are beautiful. I enjoy their presence so much.

Lindsey, they did. I didn't refer because I wasn't sure if you were reading here and would want the referrals. Next time, OK?

Casey, it is sad that there are orphans in any species. I'm certainly glad there was someone willing to rescue this teeny one, however.

Redfrog, hugs gladly accepted and thanks for the kindness. I hope it gets better, too.
