These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Believing

"Believing in people
before they have proved themselves
is the key to motivating people
to reach their potential."

~~~~ John C. Maxwell ~~~~
This quote fascinates me. Do you believe before proof? Has someone believed in you that way? Tell your story.
  1. My parents believe enough in me to have helped me out financially in going back to school. It was a great feeling to show them my GPA and show them their faith was justified! Now I just have to keep it up!
  3. I do tend to believe the best about people until they prove me wrong. I'm glad to say most people never do prove me wrong.
    John Maxwell is one of my favorites.
  4. Patti, It is nice to have that kind of faith from others. You're going to do fine! :)
    Red, It is so important to believe in our children, as Patti says above. We are their first line of support.
    Jen, I do, too. And yes, I'm rarely disappointed, but on those times .... boy, does it hurt.
If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
