I decided this evening to see if The Kids would attack my under-the-tree decorations. Several of them could be attractive to the babies for various reasons: The matchstick Santas would make great chew toys; Several look like plush toys, a moose that sings "Grandma got Run Over By a Reindeer" while rocking, Rudolph sings "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and a frog sings a really wild rendition of "We Wish you a Merry Christmas, and the dancing Santa wiggles his hips while singing "Jingle Bells Rock." Any of that can be enticing, so we had a trial run. It was all pretty funny. Here you go....

Since then, they have left everything alone. I doubt I should trust them alone, but I think we are OK, as long as I'm in the room. And there are just a few days left.
We've got our two dogs back for the holidays, the boys wanted them home so much, so we've got the 3 dogs together again and the 4 cats. Every day we come home different ornaments are here and there...never the same. It's okay, it's worth it. :)
ReplyDeleteKathi, sounds like your own version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas"! I always put less breakable ornaments at the lower part of the tree, just in case!
ReplyDeleteYou do know that green frogs are not really known for their singing except for kermit (hes a hottie). But us redfrogs can really sing lol. My poor tree has survived cats in it and pepper knocking it down yesterday. I dont think it will be up till after new years.
ReplyDeleteRed, OK, now I expect a recording at your blog!!! LOL!! That'll teach ya!!
ReplyDeleteI love the pics. Sadie hasn't even shown an interest in the tree.
ReplyDeleteMJ, boy, are you lucky! Actually, these guy have left it along after our introduction session.
ReplyDeleteHa I don't think i'd trust those scamps alone with the decor either! LOL
ReplyDeletePatti, later on, the little frog got carried into the bedroom! No, they can't be trusted!
