I love spring, don't you? I love spring!!! Oh, yesssssss.I hate spring allergies. gah.
For the last couple weeks I have felt as if I am on the verge of catching a cold, yet it never materializes, thank goodness. And like every spring I can remember, finally something in my pate says. "Hellllllooooooo?!"
I took a Claritan. I'll probably live.
sigh.
.
Right now I wish we had enough spring to get a little itchy. Except that if I was a little itchy I'd be complaining about that, too. lol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're going to live. Really, really glad!
My allergies aren't really bad, just enough to irritate me. In the spring I become hostess to 7 little people ...... Grumpy, Sneezy, Itchy, Twitchy, Snotty, Puffy, and Drowsy. But they stay with me for just a short time, so I won't complain too much. Well, too much more.
ReplyDeleteAnd it SNOWED today!!!! Alabama weather is crazy....it was 70 degrees just a few days ago!
ReplyDeleteYou know, Cheryl, I think that crazy weather statement can be applied to about anywhere, but when it hits "home," we certainly take notice, don't we?
ReplyDelete90 degrees here! In fact when it cools off a little I am heading for the pool.
ReplyDeleteI think this is Spring weather.
In your neighborhood, yes, it is, Pepper.
ReplyDeleteI am ready for spring too but we are under a winter storm watch. They're calling for 10-12 inches.
ReplyDeleteOMG, Daisy, I like snow, but I'm ready for spring, too!
ReplyDeleteLove Spring its enough to know the allergies will go away with the snow yaaaaaay. Great funnies
ReplyDeleteI am so lucky that I don't have allergies. Hope you are feeling better. Oh and if the Claritan doesn't work I am sure a strong cocktail will. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm an allergy girl also. I love the winter when I don't have to take medications and always don't quite start taking them soon enough in the spring.
ReplyDeleteBobbie, good luck with your snow "cure."
ReplyDeleteCaroline, actually, when I'm having allergies, I try to avoid alcohol as it seems to make it worse. Yeah, you're lucky.
MJ, you'd think we'd learn, wouldn't you? Nah.
Victor survives on something they sell at Target, I will ask him what it is. I know spring is probably a week away here, but today's snow wasn't a good sign.
ReplyDeleteToo cold here for anything that comes close to spring. It is a trade off, I'm getting really sick of the cold and snow but I dread those allergy symptoms.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel like yourself soon!
Thank you again, for the award. It made me very happy. Sorry for being so late, I have been out of touch with blogging lately. I miss it! It meant a lot.
XXXXXXXX
Yes those are a negative for me, allergies. Spring AND Fall! A-choo!
ReplyDeleteJulie, I can't believe what is going on all along the east coast! We are going to be sunny and 68° here today .... high in the mountains! Crazy!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I'm actually not feeling too bad. It's just at that irritating stage of feeling it without getting me down. Your weather? No, I'll take my sniffles and sneezing, thank you very much. :)
Oh yes, Patti, I get it in the fall, too. Thank goodness, not as strongly in the fall. My biggest allergy is trees, but luck for me, it seems that pines/evergreens are not as bad as the ones that lose their leaves. I have almost all year-round trees here.
right now my favorite allergy medicine is xyzal
ReplyDelete(M)ary, I've never heard of that!
