These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
That is a very nice bird. I probably can do a stick bird.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Pepper, you are too generous! But I decided to stick my neck out and do something out of my comfort zone, and voila! It was kinda fun to see that it was at lease vaguely recognizable! So let's ee your stick bird!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will try my luck with the drawing but yours is good.
ReplyDeleteMy MIL used to take the kids scribbles and draw animals out of them, then she would write the kids name & the date on them. She kept them all, we found them after she passed away when we were getting the house ready to sell.
Good memories.
Kim, those memories are sweet, aren't they? I had a rough day yesterday going through some legal papers to get some info. I wasn't prepared to see my mom's notes she'd written in them. and it really took me aback.
ReplyDeletedid you draw that? i think it is good. maybe you should draw a little more!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks, (M)ary. I'm not convinced it is "good," but if it pleases others, I guess my opinion is of little matter, eh? My friend, an artist, say is should do more drawing, too. We'll see!
ReplyDeleteI seriously cannot draw a decent stick person but that's ok. Your bird is purty!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, thankee!
