These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

  2. Yep, MJ, me, too. I loved her as Maude, especially when she flustered Archie. I was watching Golden Girls last night and thinking how she just made the show. I will miss her.

  4. Beans, if you ever have a chance to watch Maude or All in the Family when she was guesting there, do so! She was so good! Her timing was always impeccable, no matter which show.

  6. Bobbie, I'm surprised that reruns of Maude haven't been around. I liked that show a lot. Maybe now they will be on the air.

  7. I don't know which rock I've been living under, but I didn't know she died. I love her acting on the Golden Girls reruns which I still watch.

    Hugs,
    Betty

  8. Betty, she just dies yesterday, so you weren't to far under the rock. Yes, I still watch and enjoy GG, too.

  9. I was so sad to hear the news. Both S and I thought for sure that Estelle Getty would be the first Golden Girl to pass away since she has been sick for so long. I have several episodes of The Golden Girls taped, but I haven't been able to watch them yet. It's just so sad.

  10. Caroline, honey! Where have you been? You're the ET news junkie, but you don't know that Estelle passed away several months ago? I think it was summer or fall, as well as I can remember.

But, yes, it is sad that she is gone. It is a great loss. Quite a lady, she was.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
