These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Miscellaneous Photos

.

As I was driving to town on Friday, the skies were just gorgeous.

On any given day, if I find Lolita "missing," this is where I will usually find her.

And she is often joined by some of the siblings, this time Joey and Sammy.

Last night was an enchanting twilight.

Have a pleasant week. :)

  1. What great pictures. I think I know the exact spot of the first picture.

Your dogs have such a great place to hang out during the day. I know my Sophie would love to have a huge front porch like you have.

  2. Caroline, I 'spect you do recognize that spot. :)

My kids do love the deck. In fact, when I close the dog door that goes to the deck in the evening, they are so disappointed. I have to close it, though, so the kitty will come and eat without being scared off with their barking.

  3. Very nice pictures. I like the new flowers on top too.

The photo of your dogs reminds me that my sister-in-law's next door neighborhas a dog that looks much like Joey there. And he's a therapy dog at Mott Hospital. I always pictured therapy dogs as being big. Not necessarily, I guess.

  4. Dave, thanks! Lots of little dogs are therapy animals. In fact I was told that Shih Tzu do well at that because they are pretty easy going, relatively low on the allergic scales, and small enough to be put in a lap without pain.
