These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

All Over the Place in Pictures

.

The day started out with Jazi snoozing in the sun on the deck. When I tried to take a pictures, her buddies ran out to see what was going on. Lola, Sammy and Max each touched noses with her then sat down to spend some time.

On the way to town, I drive through a free range. This cow decided to cross the road ahead of me.

She took her sweet time!

These little calves were watching me with, well, either interest, curiosity or alarm.

This little guy craned his neck and watched me carefully!

And on the way home was a rich sunset.

Beautiful, beautiful!!

That's it, just stuff to share. G'night!

  1. I love cows. I've actually petted a few of them, and they loved it. They weren't used to that kind of attention. The sunset pictures are absolutely beautiful. --Cheryl

  3. Cheryl, cows are amazing animals. Rather stupid, I think, but beautiful. Sunsets and sunrises are unequivocally magnificent here. I know I'm prejudiced, but it is true.

Thanks, Kim. I am proud of the sunset and the kids! :D

  5. Great pictures. I really love the ones of the cows. I love that I live in an area where there are cows everywhere.

  6. Bobbie, the sky is incredibly blue here. I'm sure it has to do with the high elevation (the lowest elevation in the whole state is about 3500'), and probably the lack of pollution blocking the view. Whatever, I love it. And I had a great evening with friends!

Caroline, thanks. I love the days that I find the cattle hanging out near .... or on!! .... the road. They are so funny how they stand and stare as I go by, sometimes only a few feet from the car.

  7. I see your Facebook badge there. To me, anybody who can handle posting at Facebook deserves a badge. I've been trying to post just TWO, one. . . two, pictures there and just can't get it to do what I want. I've wasted enough time. I'm tempted to delete me there.

Of course, your pictures are always better than mine anyway.

  8. Dave, I've heard a couple others say they have trouble posting pictures to Facebook, and I have no idea what the problem is. I've not had a problem at all. I didn't know you were on Facebook, or I would have bothered you there as well as at the blog! Sorry to hear that.
