These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

ugh.

I'm feeling puky today. gah. I was supposed to be in Texas this morning for my brother-in-law's memorial service. But first of all, it snowed again last night. Yes, you read that correctly, IT SNOWED!!  A.G.A.I.N.......

Then, I woke this morning with my stomach lurching and rumbling. I haven't thrown up, but it was a fine line early. After a half tube of saltine crackers and a double cup of tea, the stomach settled a little.

I haven't been able to get much down. I'm not nauseated now, but I still feel icky. I guess I'll just stay on the couch and lick my wounds. sniff, sniff

Later.

  3. Thanks, Daisy. I am better this afternoon. I had a fever this morning and it is gone now. Being sick stinks.

  4. Sick and snow! Yuk! That's what I call a double whammy!! Hope you're feeling better soon and the snow melts quickly. After a gorgeous week here, sunny, temps in the high 60's, the weather is crap today, cold and gray with a threat of rain/snow mix! Hurry up Spring! I'm losing it!!

  5. Well crap...I just wrote out a comment and it disappeared.

We were in the 60s on Thursday and the next day we got snow. I think mother nature may be bipolar. :)

Sorry you are not feeling well. You have had a lot of stress the last couple of weeks, so please make sure that you rest and take it easy. Hugs.

  6. Deb, yep, my thought exactly. At least the snow has mostly melted, and my tum is better. I'm very ready for warm weather, dry roads, and feeling good again.

Caroline, blogger has been quirky today. I couldn't believe how everything went to pot overnight. It has been pretty nice since we got back from FL until last night. You may have something there. I am tired, for sure. At this moment, I"m not sure how much is tired and how much is sick. Tomorrow will be a better day, I'm sure. Thanks. :)

  7. Well since you aren't feeling well, I will tell you not to read my Facebook comment to you! Just rest and hopefully the nausea and the snow will pass soon. And I'm sorry about your brother-in-law Lyn.
    Love Di ♥

  8. Thanks, Di. I already saw the FB note, and it was one of the best suggestions I've had! It has been a long, yucky day, and I'm about to crawl in bed. Tomorrow will be better.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
