I can't believe how green everything is here. Twenty miles away is high desert.
Gotta love those monsoons!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
Beautiful pictures. I love monsoon season.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I do, too! It's so restorative.
ReplyDeleteGreen is why I love the Pacific Northwest so much.
ReplyDeleteMy problem, Linda, is that I need sunshine to go with my green. I love the Pacific Northwest, but there isn't enough sunshine to keep me from depression. So I have to settle for green when I can get it. But I'll visit!!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Lyn! Jake still harps on me because when he wanted to move to NM I said " I don't want to live in the desert!". What an idiot!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
Di, most people who haven't been here or who only drive through on the interstates don't know what is really here. I'm guessing Jake knew. He is OTR, isn't he? I'm guessing he had been here and knew the secret!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful pictures!! The pasture in the foreground, blue skies above and the lush earth rising up to cresting hills... lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteLisa in Kentucky
Oh, yes, Lisa! I love it when it looks like this. Many have the idea that NM is all desert, and while it isn't Kentucky, parts of it are very green and nice.
