These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Toys = puppy joy

The kids are liking those new toys ....

Blurry pictures. They were moving way too fast!

It's a very good thing.

  1. Cute pictures. My dog is a rescue dog and wouldn't think of playing with a toy. Sometimes he'll chew on a treat but never a toy. Yours are so cute playing.

  2. These guys are all rescues, too. They each play with toys to a different degree. Max rarely touches the toys, and he was the "street dog." I'm guessing he doesn't know how. The other's backgrounds are less clear, but I suspect they had a greater degree of contact with humans, other dogs, etc. Sam was a puppy mill product, in all likelihood, and he is the best "toy player," along with Lola who came from a home. Interesting, and no clue what make them play or not.

  3. Hmmmmm, coincidentally we're dog-sitting my son's Boston Terrier this week. My wife and I decided to buy him a new toy as he's destroyed all the old ones that belonged to our deceased pet poodle.

    Simon arrived at about 6 a.m. Thursday when only my wife was up. By the time I got up and came downstairs at 6:20, the toy was already ripped apart and the squeaker disabled.

  4. It's so cute to see them play! I love watching them except when they decide to do it on my lap. Then mom gets mad and they run and do it somewhere else!! Love Di ♥

  5. Chuckle! Di, I have the same problem at times. They don't seem understand why I put them on the floor!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
