These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Hurray!!!

The "Large Item Pickup" truck just finished loading up the pile of refuse from the end of my driveway and has driven away! WahHooo! That was a big concern for me. Yesterday was actually the day denoted for that, but they have a window of 3 days. The realtor was here yesterday, and she took some pictures inside but didn't complete the task because of the messy look out front and didn't finish inside pictures since I just got behind because of my physical limitation with this hand. She will be back either this evening or tomorrow to complete the picture task.

The next rah-rah is because I signed papers for the listing of the house. It will actually go to MLS on Monday. That gives me a few more days to finish the little nagging details inside the house. Additionally, my realtor mentioned details of the house to one of her coworkers, and it is going to be shown sometime this week. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it sold this quickly? Say some home-selling prayers and meditations!

  1. The house looks great. Everyone at our house is keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed that you will sell it before you leave. That would just be wonderful. I know it would be a huge relief to you.

  3. It's a lovely house. I know the market has slowed down considerably, but I bet you won't have to wait too long. You've got lots of curb appeal!
