These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose . . .

. . . and when it is growing right outside my front door, what a delightful surprise! I meant to share this a few days ago when I took it. I walked out to get the morning paper, and as I came back to the house, I saw this beautiful rose with minute beads of dew on every petal. So glad I noticed! Now I get to share it with you.

  2. tol - I think you need it just bout as badly as I do! It seems as if there are several of my blogging friends who are having, uhmm, challenges getting in their faces recently. We all need to stop look and smell the roses.

  4. caroline - I do love this camera. I still don't know all the features and how to use them, but I figure once I get to Allan's, I'll have time to really learn. It takes awesome pictures.

  8. Hmmm, I responded to some of these earlier but it doesn't show up. Oh, Yeah! It is blogger monday, isn't it?

patti - That rose is one of those that really does smell wonderful, too.

ragged - Thanks. I'm glad to have things to remind me to take time to enjoy the beauty around me since I tend to have blinders on these days.

mrhaney - Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad to share my good smells!

  10. Catherine - LOL Sometimes, yes! But I'm still along way from understanding all the features. My brother is a professional photographer, and I'm going to have him inform me about those when I stay at his home on the way to NM. shhhh. He doesn't know that he is going to be put to work! I don't want him to withdraw the invitation to stay there!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
