These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I am sorting old pictures to begin archiving, and I ran across this one which I just have to share! It was Halloween 1973.

Clowns, just little, funny clowns!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, EVERYONE!!

PS @ 7:24 AM on 11/1/06 - I just realized some history in the picture that is worthy of sharing. The devil costume was sewn my my sister for her youngest son who is now 47 years old. The angel's white robe was mine when I was in the children's choir, so dates back to approximately 1947-48! Both were still in the Halloween decorations and costumes box at the house. When I looked at their condition, I couldn't justify keeping either, so they were discarded just a few months ago. Glad I have the picture!

  1. That angel is a doll, but I'm not so sure about that devil!!!! (tee hee hee hee). This has always been one of my favorite pictures. BTW, change the time on your clock to the correct NM time :)! ILY

  4. patti - Isn't that the truth? Actually, I'm glad I don't have small ones anymore because of that. Of course, it is good to have safety in place, but a porportionally small number of meanies have ruined what used to be a fun day.
