These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
And, BTW, my dear little Ali is 14 years old today, too!!
"Happy Birthday to me. I'm now sixty- ... you finish the *RHYME*"
I'm sixty-three (63). I'm clarifying because I think it is really silly to lie about my age, and I don't want you to think I'm shaving some of it off! Nah. I is whut I is!!
Happy, happy belated birthday to you!! And Ali, too! I don't get around to commenting as much as I'd like, but I read you all the time through my blogfeed subscriptions thingy, and I just want you to know how very happy I am to have blogmet you, Lyn. While we've never met, you still feel like a treasured friend, and I hope your birthday was fantastic.
Catherine - Thank you so much, for the BD wishes and the wonderful sentiments. those thought are returned to you. And who knows ... we may have a chance to meet. I plan to travel all over the US in the coming years, and I won't be far from your place for several of my hoped-for routes. In fact a friend just bought some land near a little town close to your home that carries the same name as the Valley you live in, in the south end of that valley. I feel certain I'll swing by your neck of the woods in the next year. I'll let you know!
If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
Happy Birthday indeed Lynilu ! Cyber candles and songs and creme brulee to you !!!
ReplyDeleteAnnie - You brought an out loud laugh with your reference to creme brulee! Thank you!!
