These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Tuesday Trivia

Yay! It is actually Tuesday!!

To my exasperation, I accidentally deleted my folder full of accumulated trivia!! So I went on a search. Just for you!!! Here we go .............

On average, 80 people shoot at the Goodyear blimp each
year.

Why???
***

The last stagecoach holdup took place in Tennessee on
October 15, 1882.

***

George Lumley, aged 104, married Mary Dunning, aged 10, in Nortallerton, England on August 25, 1783. She was the great-great granddaughter of the woman who'd broken her engagement to Lumley, eighty years before.

Eeeeeuuuuuwww!
***

The average age for first time brides is 24.5 years. For
grooms it's 26.5 years.

Obviously didn't include the above fact!!!
***

Levi Strauss blue jeans with copper rivets were priced
at $13.50 per dozen in 1874.

Talk about inflation!!!
***

The WD in WD-40 stands for Water Displacer.

Well, that takes the mystery out of it, doesn't it? And half of the fun, too. shoot.
***

Bayer was advertising cough medicine containing heroin
in 1898.

Bayer? Coca Cola? Wow!
***

Most people fall asleep in seven minutes.

Aren't you glad?
***
And my personal favorite:

In the course of an average lifetime, while sleeping you might eat around 70 assorted insects and 10 spiders, or more.

Yummy! just seven minutes to a midnight snack!!! Now don't you wish you'd taken longer to fall asleep??? LOL!!

  13. Jeans under $20...now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!

Ok, so this bug thing happens when you're asleep??? Now that's just SICK...literally. Wonder if my lack of love for bugs is why it takes me so long to fall asleep? I think the spiders get tired of waiting for me to fall asleep...so they just leave...rolling their eyes, LOL

    I just don't know how to...uh, thank you for this info...really, I don't :-). Have a beautiful weekend anyways!

Dawn - This has cracked me up! Have you noticed that most comments completely overlooked the other items, because the last one just grossed everyone out altogether?? LOL!

    Yay! Cheap jeans!!

Bradley - When I was about junior high age, I tried fried grasshoppers (actually not bad) and chocolate covered ants (just crunchy chocolate). Now the thought makes me shudder!!!
