These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Why the Weatherman Can't Be Accurate

I forgot I wanted to say this earlier today about how weird weather can sometimes be.......

At about 10:30 this morning (Saturday), I was writing an email to a cousin, and I looked out the window. It was snowing! Really, snowing pretty hard! So why is that so amazing? Well, it was 52 degrees outside!! Strange stuff!!

No, it didn't stick and the "storm" lasted just about 10 minutes. Oh, and the temp dropped a degree!

Strange, indeed.

  2. It's sad, we didn't get any snow at all this winter. We usually have some, even if it's a small coating...but nothing this winter.

  3. Tonight I went out to dinner up by the airport and as I was driving home it started snowing. It was weird because I didn't know it was going to snow and it was clear up by the airport. By the time I got home there was about an inch on the ground and it's still coming down.

  5. I didn't know it COULD snow at 52 degrees, wow! Heh, we 'warmed up' to 22 yesterday and we were all running around town without jackets like fools. It did feel good though, how sad is that?

  6. Beans, weeeeellllll. I don't know if we can actually blame global warming since I've seen this kind of thing several times before over my lifetime, but strange, indeed!

Kathi, it was like that here 2 years ago. Weather is certainly a puzzling phenomena, isn't it?

Caroline, that's my snow you're getting, you know!! Send it back!!

Sherry, LOL! Yes, I think you're onto something there!!

Sandra, well, I'd say it certainly isn't the usual! I suppose some of it has to do with my altitude, but I don't know that for a fact. Isn't it funny how we adjust to the conditions around us? It's all relative, anyway! And, hey, if it feels good, it feels good! Enjoy!!

Jen, OK, OK, it's global warming. I can't fight the masses!! sighhhhh. :D

  8. Patti, Mother Nature quirky??? Be careful, now. Don't talk bad about Mother Nature!

Wasn't there a commercial a long, long time ago that said something like: "Don't talk back to Mother Nature"?

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
