These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

  1. I love the pot with the, what do you call them, hens and chickens? I think that's what my mom called them but surely that's not right.

  3. Oh look at those succulents and I love the one in the strawberry pot!!!

Hens and chickens...bring back so many fond childhood memories. When my friend Donna and I would play house, we'd peel the hens and chicks and that was "dinner" on the plates...much to my mother's chagrin!! ;) Ever tasted one of those? An interesting flavour!

  6. Mary Ann, yes, those are hen and chicks (as my mom called them). It isn't the official name, of course, but that's what they are commonly called. I like them, too!

Cameo, hon, you must have very few house plants! If you do in hens and chicks, it is certain not much else is making it in your house!! LOL! Now, if you believe "everything happens for a reason," you missed the little yellow pot so that some hens and chicks owould be spared!! LOL!

Sherry, well you're sitll alive, so obviously hens and chicks isn't poisonous! An "intresting flavour," eh? I'll have to give 'em a try!! LOL!!

Caroline, thanks. You probably remember the pot from the front yard. It was on one of the big rocks out front.

Redfrog, I don't remember that mine have ever bloomed, but I know some do. there are several varieties of them, and perhaps some bloom while others do not. I donno! Post picture of them, if yours do!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
