A-Shopping We Did Go!

Well, today was certainly therapeutic! I bought.....

At Venture:

• a mattress pad for the futon
• some household cleaning supplies

At Petco:

• a second training crate for the kids
• treats for the pups
• a pooper scooper
• pick-up bags to hang on the leashes
• bird seed
• more perches for the bird cage
• bird treats
• several other odds and ends

At Hobby Lobby:

• a book stand/easel for my laptop (and it works like a dream!)
• picture frames
• picture matting material
• fabric to put a new backing on a favorite old comforter
• a few other odds and ends

At Home Depot:

• additional hardware for the hammocks

At Sally's:

• nail care supplies

We actually found time to eat lunch at Chili's, too!

And although we wanted to return to an antique sore and pick up a couple things there, we decided to skip it as it was nearly 5:00. We got a cold drink at Sonic and hit the road.

Linda just bought a new home, moved in just a few days ago, and she bought more today than I did! She even brought home some furniture, area rugs, and bedding!! Boy, am I glad I have a truck to haul it all home in!!

Have you ever noticed that being tired after a full day of shopping is a far different kind of tired than doing a day of yard work? Strange.......
