These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

If the world could vote

I have two items here. Please take a look at them both.

I'm thinking that this answers a huge question about who would do best in the world arena. Experience is only a part of the necessary qualifications; another part is being respected and welcomed to the table of discussion and negotiations. The world must trust and accept our leadership.

Again, please go to both sites and read.

If the world could vote

very interesting...

This is pretty amazing. Vote and then check out the results.

If The World Could Vote

Who is behind the site?

Just three guys from Iceland.

The site is independent from all political parties, companies or hidden agendas. It's just an idea a 22 year old guy in Iceland came up with and executed with a little help from a couple of friends.

Why are you doing this?

Just out of curiosity. The president of the United States is a powerful man, probably the most powerful person on the planet. So everyone seems to have an opinion on who should be the next president of the United States. We thought it would be interesting to see who would be the next president if the whole world could vote. It's also a challenge to try to beat the number of voters in the last US elections. So spread the news!

Thanks, Cameo!
==========

And it could be because of things like this (Amazing: Obama Helped Stranded Stranger 20 Years Ago ) that people around the world are voting as they are on the above site. (Thanks, Dawn!)

Jus' sayin'.

  3. The results aren't surprising, but there are still too many uneducated, "entitled" asshats out here to believe the election is in the bag.

  4. Julie, I agree. That is why it is so essential for us to (1)volunteer for the campaign, (2)vote. Essential.

  5. You and I obviously get all the same reading material. I read that one about the stranded stranger and wept. Because HOW can anyone speak ill of this man?!
