These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

it's Finally Friday

I have some random chuckles for Friday to get your weekend off to a good start.

Isn't this the truth??

If my late husband had thought of this he would have said the same!

I often have felt this way. In fact, yesterday I put together three sets of shelves with little problem, then I opened the box with the next set of shelves, and it has no written instructions, just pictures. I went to bed.

These days, me too .......

Hasn't every mom (or dad) felt like this on occasion? LOL!

And finally, just to remind you who are parents .... don't forget, today is Friday. That means tomorrow is .....

Have a good weekend!!

  3. Oh my gosh...that one is totally Glenn. I used to always be nervous when I would stay at your hosue and watch the dogs because I was afraid I would mess up his recordings. Did he ever watch anything he recorded??

I was just thinking of Glenn this morning because I know the anniversary of his death was this past week. I do miss him.

  6. Cheryl, I've always liked doing laundry, but at times it was overwhelming when the kids were all home, especially if we went away for the weekend.

Dawn, that's something I honestly think I never did. But my kids might remind me otherwise!

Caroline, can you imagine how bad it would have been with a DVR that records programs every week, etc.? LOL!He actually did watch a lot of what he recorded, but never, ever all of it!

    Yep, me, too.

    Red, I'm glad they did!

  7. Annie, thank you! I think it will be a working weekend, but I'm actually looking forward to getting some more organization done so it's OK!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
