These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Wind, Wind, Go Away ....

Come again anoth.... NO!! Just go away and don't come back!!

I've been griping about the wind. I mean, today when Madeleine and I went to town, I did my hair as I always would, but before we left our neighborhood, it was a total wreck! And while we were in town, it only got worse!! By the time we got home it looked as if I'd just crawled out of bed!! The gusts are horrendous. I took a short video, hoping to catch one of those strong gusts, but I was able to get just the "normal" wind.

(BE SURE YOUR SOUND IS ON)

"Normal wind." Yeah, right.

  3. The other day in Alabama the winds took out the hotel transformer, meaning no electricity for an hour or so. This feels as if it is going to be a bad winter...I hope I am wrong.

Hi, Annie, holiday happiness back to you! And yes, Virginia, there is wind chill!!

Red, I can put up with this wind if I can avoid the kind of snow you often get in your area!
