What else ... weather, its side effects and other seasonal stuff.
Have a good, warmin'-up kinda week!!
These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
I like the one about hibernating till spring. I'm all for that. It looks like I have to shovel again this morning.
ReplyDeleteMy son's girlfriend is in Vegas and reports that "she's sweating" out there. I'll bet you're glad you don't live in the midwest anymore.
Dave, the hibernation one was my favorite, too.
ReplyDeleteAll of the Southwest is having a winter heat wave. Ours isn't bad here, but we are about 10° over normal. I've said MANY time recently that I'm glad I don't live in the Midwest. SO glad!!
We are having a heat wave of 30 degrees it is so nice to be out of the low single digits. But the snow is falling again oh well
ReplyDeleteBobbie, now look, whadda ya want snow or cold? You can't have everything, ya know!!
ReplyDeleteI know that chapstick in the dryer story too well. My family does this all the time, despite my reminders.
ReplyDeleteLoving your Sunday Funnies, they really do make me smile. I need to smile.
I haven't been on the computer for the past week, but I'm trying to make up for lost time.

Cheryl, I used to have that problem, too, but it ended when I told them I got to keep anything left in the pockets .... including money! Suddenly, there was rarely anything in a pocket!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you smiled. :)
