These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................
You add a soft blanket and a dog or two (okay, in my case 3 and a few cats) and that's my idea of perfect down time!

What's funny is that is how I would describe my July and August when it's really hot. :) Although those three things go well in Febuary as well. And I totally agree with Kathi...you must have a couple furry friends.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kathi also. A nice bottle of alochol also. And ear plugs for of us that have children
ReplyDeleteThose 3 things are not limited to but go especially well with February. I like Bobbie's idea of alcohol.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, Caroline, my kids all pile up on the couch or in the bed with me at a hint of an invitation!
ReplyDeleteBobbie, alcohol is always accepted in these situations!
Daisy, how about some Godiva Chocolate liqueur and cream? Gee, I may have to indulge in that shortly!
How about some Kahula and creme???
ReplyDeleteOK, Caroline, I could be *forced* to do K&C, I was just trying to stick with the chocolate theme.
ReplyDeleteNot for me, that would twelve months out of the year LOL
ReplyDeletePatti, I'm with you!!
ReplyDeletei have been spending time in a hot bath...that is all i want to do when it it cold out.
ReplyDelete(M)ary, that sounds good, too, but be careful to not melt the chocolate!!
