These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

As I said ..............

.

.... It is never boring.

Lola just came trotting in the front door, hopped up on the couch beside me, and here is what she had in her mouth....

I keep these in the basket with grooming tools. After a brushing or a trim, they get a little treat. I left the basket on the deck on the bench I put them on for these tasks. Never gave it a second thought, because there has not been a problem.

Till now.

They can get on the bench, but have not bothered anything.

Till now.

But you can see she doesn't know how to get the treats out of the box! There are five left, the number that were there after I brushed them and gave them treats yesterday!!

My house .... Cirque de les mutts!

  1. Ha!Ha! That is so funny that she tore the box all up, but couldn't figure out how to get the treats out.

  2. That is so neat. After trying to get the treats out she actually brought the box to you so you could get the treats out for her.

    That is so funny.

Pepper, I know! That's the height of self-assurance, isn't it? I had to laugh at her!

  5. Your post reminded me of something Casey did. James and I had just brought home lunch from Wendys and he got the spicy chicken and he set the sandwich down on the coffee table, stepped away for about a minute and when he came back the sandwich and the wrapper were gone. And Casey sat there licking his lips. It was the funniest thing.

  6. That's funny, Caroline! Do you remember when Glenn was eating lunch on the deck and went back in the house for something. When he returned, Ali was sitting up in the chair just like a human would, with his paws on each side of the plate of spaghetti, munching and looking around at the world!! LOL!

  7. You always have entertainment. I would have added "free" but looks like the little ones can be costly.

  8. Bobbie, I just noticed I missed you earlier! Sorry! Yes, I am never surprised when a package of some kind containing foodstuff is chewed to pieces.

MJ, Yes, I have it here, and I bring it with me to the blog!
