I've had a really good day. But I have nothing exciting or interesting to write about. I'm not sure if that is good or bad, but I'm going with good.
One of the dogs has started digging in the back yard. They can't dig out because there are either railroad ties or good size rocks at all areas around the fence, so I'm not worried. However, since it's about time for grass to begin growing again, I'm worried. The holes are showing up in the middle of the yard! I'm talking significant holes, eight inches to a foot across and four to six inches deep. Definitely big enough to turn an ankle.
I fill the holes, and within two days, the hole reappears. So recently I'm putting big rocks on the freshly filled holes to stop whoever it is. A couple days later, there is a new hole right next to the old one under the rock! It is driving me crazy!
I haven't been able to catch the culprit. It started before I brought Lolita home, so I suspected it wasn't her, but who???
Well, an hour or so ago I went out back to pick up a couple toys and caught the naughty baby goin' at it!! Wanna guess who?

I was putting money on sam or max. See no matter how pretty or innocent we look we are all bad. LOL Buford and Pepper are great hole diggers also
ReplyDeleteHa I was betting on Sam! Just goes to show you. I wonder what does induce them to dig?
ReplyDeleteBobbie, me, too!
ReplyDeleteMQ, I don't know why they do. After I wrote that I realized that Sam, Jazi and Lola all three "dig" in the house. I have to watch them carefully because they get on the couch and dig, dig, dig. On the comforter on the bed, dig, dig, dig. In the dog beds, dig, dig, dig. I don't get it.
That is TOO funny! ALWAYS the girl! LOL
ReplyDeleteDawn, I'm tellin' ya!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, naughty girl. I'm glad Sadie is not really a digger.
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky, MJ!
