I Used to Have This Friend

Once I had a friend. That friend gave me a really cool gift when I left Kansas City. A picture of herself and someone else in a special frame that said "Friends" on it. She said it was so I would always know we were friends. I really loved it and had it on display.

Then the relationship between my friend and the other person ended. It wasn't right to keep that particular picture out, so I asked my friend to send me a picture of herself to replace that one. That was in 2007.



It is now 2009. I still have no replacement picture. I wonder what that means. Does my friend not want me to have her picture? Does she not like me anymore? Have I offended her? What can this mean? Can anyone figure out this puzzle? I'm so confused!

    Oh my gosh....you crack me up. I totally forgot that you had asked me to send you another picture of me. I will get right on that.

    P.S. Is it bad that I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw the picture of you know who. Actually, she does look better with her face hidden like that. :)

    Caroline, I almost blotted out all of her, but then I thought it was more meaningful to just cut off her head! LOL!

    On the down side, I see how I rate, the forgotten one! BTW, are you going to Oak Park Mall THIS WEEKEND???

    Hey! You can take the picture and email it. I can print and size it, saving you some time and trouble. [and maybe assuring me I'll get the picture, she whispers as an aside]

    Patti, the friend could do just that, but the friend had better do something!!

    I think it's a shame your friend hasn't sent you a picture expecially since she has her camera everywhere and always take pictures of everything. One would think that she would have sent just one of the millions of pictures that she takes.
