These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Mama

.
A serious tribute to my mama. She was a beautiful loving lady, and I miss her so much.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mamas out there.

  1. Well, I was already having a tearful day- now the floodgates have been opened. My hope is that our mothers know how much they are missed, and still appreciated, now more than ever.

    Hugs,

  3. My mother died 5 years ago. I still catch myself thinking, "I'll just pick up the phone and call Mom." And then I realize. I guess it's something that never really goes away. Yeah, you made me cry, but it was with a smile. :-)

  8. Pepper, thank you. She truly was, inside and out.

Cheryl, thanks. She was a very honest, "what you sees is what you gets" kind of person. She hated having her picture taken, and that is one of the rare photos where she was having an unforced smile. I love it.
