These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

So much to do. So little do I want to do it.

.
I'm putting off yard work. I don't want to do it, I just want it done! OK, OK, just this short post and I'm outta here.

Monday .... what else needs to be said?

Yeah!!! Me, too!!!!

This reminds me that it is time to clean out the fridge again. gah.

Yeah, yeah, OK! I'm going! Sheesh, you guys are slave drivers! I'll see ya when the back yard is revitalized with lots of nice new topsoil.

Have a good Monday, indeed. harumph.

  1. Yardwork is seasonal in Michigan with springtime being the busiest. I have mowed a couple times but soon the annuals will need to be planted. The weeds are already there. They always get a head start.

  2. I have really grown to not like yard work. I think that is why I don't mind someone else coming in and mowing my grass.

I can't wait to see pictures of your yard. I know it's going to look great.

  3. I don't like yard work because I don't know what to do with it. From Missouri to Arizona is a big difference. I have books, I am learning.

  4. Dave, My grass that was planted last year is just beginning to come up, so I haven't even had to mow yet. I'm trying to build enough turf to make a decent lawn. gah.

Caroline, ah, Grasshopper, you really are growing up! I hope it looks good in a month or so. I'm exhausted!

Pepper, I'm assuming AZ is big on xeriscaping, as they are here in NM. I'm adjusting, too. To be honest, I miss the lush grass in MO, but I don't miss the humidity!!

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
