These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. Hurrying to Get It Done
I'm back. I'll fill in more later. I gotta get out to plant more of those plants before the rain starts. I want to get this over with! Please remind me to never, NEVER buy this many plants at once again. What was I thinking???
Glad you are back, was starting to worry. Caroline is being nice when using the word miserable to describe the Kansas weather. It is more than miserable....and I think it gets worse with every year. Or maybe it's just because I am getting older???
Caroline,I am glad I'm where I am. Friends in Houston and all the way up the middle of the US are dying with the heat and humidity. Yeah, I'm glad I'm here!
Kim, one of the reasons I wanted to move from KC was the weather. The combination of heat and humidity was deadly for me. Maybe it is age related, as the body gets so it can't handle as many climatic extremes. But hot is sometimes just hot!!
If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!

Be glad that you are not in Kansas right now...it's 95 outside and very humid. It is downright miserable.
