These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Raining!! Really, really Raining!

This is unbelievable! The weather forecast was for "scattered thunderstorms" all day long, something like 20% chance. Well, three hours ago, it began raining, and I'm guessing that the 20% is parked right over my house! It has let up a few times to a drizzle, but it hasn't quit. Thankfully, most of it is a good soaking rain, so it is very beneficial. I haven't seen any runoff. whew. The rain gauge has about .3 inch. 3/10 of an inch rain ÷ 3 hours = soaking all my plants. Yesssssssssssssss.

The best things is that it isn't thundering any more. When it first began, jazi, who is afraid of thunder was a quivering mess. Now that it is merely raining, she is fine. Poor girl.

Now the weather report says we are going to be at 40% to 65% chance of rain and storms from now, all through the night. I hope I don't float away!

  4. MJ, I don't think there's a worry about that. It was a nice gentle rain.

LOL, Bobbie, thanks, I'll keep that in mind!

Cheryl, Jazi isn't nearly as bad as my last "thunder-struck" dog. He absolutely would tear things apart out of his fear. I'm SO glad she isn't that afraid.
