The diet seems to be working. I can see "waistliness" on Lola and Sammy! Sam seems to be taking it pretty well, but Lola acts, at times, as if I'm starving her to death. Her problem is that she doesn't finish her food when it is available, then she gets hungry in between. I think her attention span is too short to finish a meal! She eats some then wanders around, muscling bites here and there from the others. Little snip! I have to stand in the middle of the pack to make sure everyone gets their own. I think, I hope, she is getting a little bit better about it. Nevertheless, the reduction of rations seems to be doing it's job. The change is minimal, but I can see it, so .... YAY!!Yesterday afternoon, I decided that I needed to water my fledgling plants since it hadn't rained in several days. Well, technically it had rained several times, but never enough to wet the topsoil, just barely
