These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

.
Hey, I'd like to ask all of you for a favor. A friend from blogville and facebookland has been MIA for a week, and since he lives in Louisville, it is really concerning. I've tried calling his cell phone and land line with no answer either place. Not only that, but he is dependent on oxygen, so the possibility (probability) that he is without electricity is really concerning.

I'm asking that you keep Nick in your meditations and prayers. I'd say chances are good that his family was able to get him to safety, but until I know that, I will remain concerned.

Thanks everyone.

PS just a few minutes later - On a lark I fond Nick's son in the phone book and gave him a call. He is OK!! His phone is fried, and I'm assuming his computer, also, but he is fine. The family drove over to check on him yesterday!! Huzzah!!

  5. Thanks, everyone, for caring. Since his health is so fragile, the internet is important to him and has made him quite a few net-buddies, all of whom were concerned. It wasn't a good feeling for a while, not knowing what was going on. I'll be really glad when he gets back to "normal." You guys are the best!!

  6. I am so grateful for your concern! I am so happy to have Internet and phone service again. I find it unbelievable that it took Ma Bell 8 days to make the repairs.

If you have something to say about it, just stick out your thumb, and I'll slow down so you can hop aboard! But hang on, 'cause I'm movin' on down the road!!! No time to waste!!!
