These are random musings of my life journey, the people, animals, places, and events which have woven, and continue to weave, a tapestry that is me. We all know there is no real destination, only the ongoing experiences which blend together, creating the trail. Each step gives a glimpse of what is to come, without allowing me to see the end result. It is exciting. I have a home base that is mine, that gives me a place to rest. This is it. This is where my heart is, no matter where I journey...................

Rent-A-Kid

My Rent-A-Kid has gone home. I love Rent-A-Kid. He saved me a ton of work. We worked for 1.5 hours and we were able to get most of the original pile of tree branches cut up and out to the street, ready for pickup. My Rent-A-Kid is the best. He will help me to get rid of the remainder of the branches over the next few weeks, then he will be puppy sitting when I go on my trip to Tucson. He is a good worker, good to my pups, and just a dear young man. How many 16 year olds can get that kind of endorsement? Did I say my Rent-A-Kid is great? Rent-A-Kid is greater than great!

Jes' sayin'.

  1. So glad that you were able to find reliable help. Your Rent-A-Kid sounds pretty darn cool for a 16 year old.

  2. I know! Once in a lifetime, and thank goodness it is here and now for me. Wait, I can't say once in a lifetime or I discount Scotty D. and all he did for us in KC. OK, TWICE in a lifetime!! Wooo hoooo!

  3. I'm reading these posts chronologically backward but I am happy that you are so happy with Rent-A-Kid, he could give Lawnmower Couple a few good lessons!

  4. Yeah, he could. Rent-A-Kid screws up, but he does so because he is a teenager and doesn't have fully developed good judgment. Mower Man has no conceivable excuse that I can see. Nor Mrs. MM. They're just jerks.
